Big Mac Casserole

Just what the title says! A deconstructed cheeseburger cooked casserole style.



You can make this recipe to fit your lifestyle - #paleo, #gluten free, #whole30 (take out the cheese). My kids enjoyed the pickles the most :-) Easy to make ahead and pop in the oven to reheat at a later time, as well.


1 lb ground beef

1 cup diced onions

1 can diced tomatoes, drained

Shredded cheddar cheese


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Over medium heat, brown the beef and onion mixture until fully cooked and onions are softened. Remove the grease and transfer mixture to a casserole dish. Mix in diced tomatoes and about 1/2 of the cheese. Bake until warm throughout.




Topped with dill pickles, sliced Roma tomatoes, remaining cheese and shredded lettuce for a bowl effect. We added the casserole mixture to potato buns for the kids and served with shoestring fries!
